G10 Selina: I am very grateful to my teachers and classmates for their appreciation of my article. The book I chose this time, Call Me By Your Name, tells the story of two young people fascinated with each other, hesitant, testing, gradually, the emotion in the flow. The encounter lasted only six weeks, but it left a lifelong mark on the protagonist. Because in that sweltering midsummer, they found something they could never find again... I liked the story of the book so much that I chose to write it. This award is not only an affirmation of my past efforts, but also a driving force for me to continue moving forward in the future. I will take this award as an opportunity to work harder to improve my writing ability. This award also made me more understand that a good composition requires a deep literary foundation, keen observation and a wealth of reading, but more importantly, a heart that loves life and pays attention to details. Only with enthusiasm for life, can you write touching words.

Call Me By Your Name講述了兩個青年彼此著迷、猶疑、試探,漸漸地,情感在流動中進發(fā)。

G9 Lenny: I'm very happy to participate in this Pound and Pen writing activity. The book I chose is "The ghost who pinched me", because I have read this book more than once, so I know this book very well. There have been difficulties in the process of writing, but it has also exercised my writing and thinking skills.

G8 Sophia: Pen and ponder was a great experience. Already an avid reader this program helped me to review and reflect in a more focused way on what I have read. If it wasn't for pen and ponder I would never have considered the stories that I read so thoroughly. I feel that the exercise assisted me in improving my vocabulary and helped me to be more expressive and thoughtful when reflecting on a the story. The pen and ponder program also allowed me to practice my writing skills. In conclusion, the program is a worth while exercise that provides students with an opportunity to be reflective and to hone their reading and writing skills.
